When I saw this fabric, I absolutely fell in ls ove! It is a light weight 100%
cotton, airy and bright. This striped material is a yarn dyed fabric, meaning
that the different coloured threads are woven into the pattern rather than a
printed fabric. It is slightly crinkled and has white with peach, yellow and
red stripes. s and early
This romper is strikingly beautiful! It was designed after the retro
Guatemalan overalls of the 80s and early 90s with the contrast of striped
facing different directions on the cuffs and yokes at the top back and front.
I've always loved that classic look and wanted to make a similar style romper
that would be perfect for the beach. It is loose fitting, accommodating cloth
diapers and totally comfortable and cool for hot summer weather. The bottom of
this romper is cuffed and cuffs can be turned up and down for a much longer
wear. The buttons are handmade from fallen French Lilac branches and have
purplish rings from the natural pigment that is present in lilac wood and
flowers. These are sanded and polished by hand and are just stunning!

Garment Care:
-to get the longest life out of this garment and it's hand made wooden buttons
I suggest hand wash and hang to dry, warm iron as needed.
-can also machine wash cold and tumble dry low.
